Product I Love: Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer

This product has become an absolute can't live without product for me. I use it every single day. It was recently featured on Good Morning America as one of the best anti-aging makeup products. Check it out here http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/top-anti-aging-makeup-picks-good-housekeeping/story?id=13072332

This awesome moisturizer has light diffusing pigments which help to even out your skin tone. It also contains hyalauronic acid which helps to increase elasticity and increase hydration levels of the skin. Plus it includes good-for-you ingredients such as ginseng root extract, gingko biloba leaf extract and chamomile for antioxidant protection. It's oil-free and water resistant.

Personally I have been using this product as a light foundation. I honestly only need concealer to cover any blemishes. I would 110% recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

Makeup Idea for a Hot Valentine's Date

If you have a date with your special someone for Valentine's Day, here is a fun look to try. I started by sketching out an idea I had.

Now you want to start with a blank canvas. I used Stila's new Prime Pot in Taffy. This is an amazing product because it is waterproof and really helps cancel out the color of your eyelid. This allows whatever color you are using to truly shine.
Now you are going to take a light champagne color and apply to your whole eyelid. Then take a dark brown and apply all the way up to your crease. Remember blend, blend, blend. When you are doing a dark color eyeshadow, you could also apply your foundation last. This will allow you to take care of any fallout. I used Stila's new Trio in Ethereal.
Once you have gotten your color to where you like it, you are going to line your eyes. For this look you will be using a deep brown liner on the top lid and a purple on the bottom. Line your full eye on both top and bottom. I also lined my bottom rim with the same purple color. Smudge your liner out a little on the bottom to give you a more dramatic look. I used Stila Smudgesticks in Lionfish and Purple Tang. Sorry this picture isn't very good. :)
Now apply a few coats of black mascara, blush and your favorite lip gloss. When you use darker colors on your eyes I would recommend a very neutral gloss. Now you have a look that your loved one will love.

Jordan's Senior Pictures

Wild Magnolia Artistry also offers makeup applications for senior pictures. I recently had the privelege of doing Jordan's makeup for her senior pictures. She is naturally a beautiful girl, but I really enjoyed getting to play up her features. Her pictures turned out amazing! Nancy Poole was her photographer, she is definitely someone to keep in mind if you are needing senior pictures.

Rachel's Wedding

In May, I had the privelege of doing Rachel's makeup for her big day.She looked absolutely beautiful!  Her wedding was held at Harweldon Mansion which was amazing. I truly enjoyed being a part of her wedding day!

Rachel's Hair was done by Sunnie Eckerd who's services are available in conjunction with Wild Magnolia Artistry. Photographs were taken by Artworks Tulsa. They did an awesome job capturing the beauty of this day.

Product I LOVE: Stila Smudgesticks

About 3 months ago, I got a job as an Education Artist for Stila Cosmetics. Honestly, at the time Stila was a brand I had heard of but never really tried. Since then I have gotten to work hands on with many Stila products and let me tell you this is an awesome brand. It makes me kind of sad I had never tried it before.

One of my favorites are the Smudgesticks, they just came out at the beginning of May. These are waterproof eyeliners that do NOT come off. They are truly the best eyeliners I have ever seen. They come in a variety of colors. A few of my favorites are Purple Tang (gorgeous purple), Lionfish (shimmery brown), and Stingray (dark black). You have about a minute of smudge time with these and then they are set and not coming off without eye makeup remover. These are absolutely perfect for Oklahoma summers when the heat and humidity can cause your eye makeup to run or weddings where the tears can flow. They are $20 a piece and are definitely worth the price. Don't just take my word for it though go to Sephora or Ulta and check them out for yourself. I know you will not be disappointed.

Product I Love: Smashbox Limitless Long Wearing Lip Gloss

As someone who is a lip gloss junkie it takes a lot for a lip gloss to impress me. However, I found a product that blows every other gloss I have tried out of the water. Smashbox's new Limitless lip gloss is amazing. This product advertises that it will stay on for 6 hours, not 100 percent sure that it will last that long. However, it does stay on better than any gloss I have ever tried. It even lasted through eating! The other thing I love about this product is that it doesn't feel sticky. Which is definitely a big plus in the world of lip gloss. The color I have is Forever, it is the perfect shade of pink. It looks natural but yet has a little pop of color. There are also 5 other colors to choose from. You can purchase this product at Sephora or ULTA. I probably have 10 lip glosses in my purse and this is the one I am constantly grabbing. Try it, I know you will not be disappointed.
